Out of the four oldest surviving newspapers in India, three have been founded by the Parsis- and in Gujarati language: Bombay (Mumbai) Samachar (1), Jam-e-Jamshed (2) and Gujaratmitra (4).Times of India happens to be the third oldest surviving newspaper in India.
