Ace Photo-journalists 1 | Steve McCurry

19 August is World Photography Day. From today till 19th I'll post short bio and some photographs of renowned photographers. 
Let me begin with Steve McCurry.

 Steve McCurry



Steve McCurry (born 23 April 1950) is an American photographer, freelancer and photojournalist. His most famous photo is of the "Afghan Girl", the girl with the piercing green eyes that periodically appears on the cover of National Geographic.


He has been one of the most iconic voices in contemporary photography for more than thirty years, with scores of magazine and book covers and has won many awards including World Press Photo for General News.
He has visited India a number of times and taken some breathtaking photographs. Here are some samples:
